League Info

Open to all 2018-2019 7th-12th grade boys lacrosse players
2017 will have two divisions:
- DIVISION I: 10th-12th GRADE
- DIVISION II: 7th-9th GRADE
- We will begin registration with the plan for 2 divisions. If there is not enough interest in the Division II division 9th graders with the proper experience will be given the option of playing up in Division I and all others will be refunded fully.
Players will be assigned to teams so they can play with players from throughout the area
Each player will receive a reversible BEASTLAX numbered jersey which must be worn in every game.
Play will feature 2 attackmen, 2 midfielders, 2 defensemen & a goalie
Games will consists of four 12-minute running time quarters
All games will be officiated by certified NFHS officials
All NHFS field lacrosse rules will apply with a few modification
All substitutions must be made on the fly or immediately following a goal
There will be a 2-point shot arc 15 yards from the goal (MLL style)
Teams will have 20 seconds to clear the ball beyond the midline
ANY PLAYER INVOLVED IN A FIGHT WILL BE EJECTED FROM THE GAME AND REMOVED FROM THE LEAGUE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE BEASTLAX SEASON; NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN. IF A FIGHT DOES OCCUR ON THE FIELD, ANY PLAYER THAT LEAVES THE BENCH AREA WILL ALSO BE EJECTED AND REMOVED FROM THE LEAGUE; NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.
Ties will go to a 2-minute sudden death overtime
If still tied, game will move to a 1v1 + goalie BRAVEHEART
Each team will play 5 regular season games
There will be a one-day single elimination tournament to determine a champion
All teams guaranteed six games unless more than one week are affected by inclement weather
